72219_378275602268592_1582037181_nWe have all heard that having a diet consisting of mostly plant based foods and white meat/ fish protein improves our overall health, immunity, is anti-aging and fights off chronic diseases- but how about trying meat free Mondays- there are several vegetarian type dishes out there that will fill and fuel you up all day long.  Ideas for Breakfast: Fresh Oats & Berries or Eggs with Avocado & Tomato. Lunch: Greek Salad or Vegetable Soup. Dinner: Quinoa Burgers or Whole Grain Penne Arrabiata.

Totally Healthy Tex Mex Wraps

397663_377088565720629_344942334_nYou will need:  Whole grain wraps, ½ cup Black Beans, 1 avocado, peeled & sliced, 1 squeeze lime,  sea salt, freshly ground pepper, 1 cup of brown rice, sour cream,  home made or store bought fresh salsa . Divide black beans, rice, salsa and avocado to the middle of the wrap- Squeeze some lime over the toppings and fold top and bottom of wrap inward, holding each fold as you roll into a wrap. Serve with sour cream and hot sauce.Enjoy
