Track your intake

1631_418641451565340_2038513371_nI just down loaded this APP: MY NET DIARY and am completely obsessed! It’s smart, easy and comprehensive. It lets you track your daily activities, eating habits, calories you consumed and burned as well as giving you an analysis of what you need to have more or less of in your diet eg: sodium, trans-fats, and sugar. You can either scan the barcode of your products or simply type in. A great way to help you put the right foods in your mouth and motivate you to move your toosh.

Happy Grazing

488066_392001467562672_1251047897_nThe importance of chewing your food properly has a huge impact on you’re over all health. It helps weight control, alleviates tummy troubles, and any other digestive issues. Now this amazing device is about to hit the shops and most likely sell out quickly! The HAPIFORK is an electronic fork that monitors & tracks your eating habits; it beeps as soon as you eat too fast. The fork claims to help you “eat slowly, feel great and look great “ . As well you can down load the HAPILABS app to monitor your health, habits, and performance. For anyone who likes wolfing down there food rather than grazing-…I think this is your answer

Plan, Plot & Pursue

424911_362019223894230_1347760849_nKeeping fit takes time, effort, and energy. To stay in shape- I suggest having a weekly realistic plan and pencil in at least 2-3 physical activities a week. For people who have less movitavtion I think that taking classes you enjoy make it feel fun and not such a chore. Over time you will feel good, look good and have an abundance of energy. Make sure you are paying attention to what you eat, moving as much as you can, and getting you 8-9 hours of sleep to help prepare for the next day. So check out yoga, pilates, spinning, zuma, boxing, or mix it up- whatever the activity you may choose. Enjoy and Get Fit!

Kick Butt Cocktail

69665_378665842229568_2034125135_nMost of you pre or post work out, go for the H20 which is fine….; however I have now swapped my big gulps of water for a bottle of ZICO Coconut Water. Here’s why: Coconut water is packed with a potassium (even more than 1 banana), it supports rapid hydration, and also full of electrolytes (sodium, magnesium, calcium, potassium, phosphorus)- these all contribute to optimal performance and replenish and rehydrate before or after your work out, this is also great if you have had the stomach flu and lost a lot of fluid or have had one too many cocktails the night before.
